Mad exercise for the day! Wind relieving YOGA!?

Can you hold it? That is not the idea!

Mad exercise for the day… just to make you laugh.

The Guardian Newspaper recently ran a series about crazy “fad” exercises, one of which was-

WIND RELIEVING YOGA! AKA DO NOT EAT BEANS BEFORE CLASS!

ises are a series of Yoga postures which help to assist air in exiting your digestive tract! The actions involve laying on your back and pulling your left, right or both knees towards your chest, whilst your stomach is tight and squeezing… whilst engaging your lower abdominal muscles. Result- explication of stale air, so the instructors tell the students!

Read in to that what ever what you like- but it still sounds like flatulence to me! I am not sure it will catch on… or should be encouraged in small clinics!

If you ever need to prescribe this exercise then maybe you need a change of profession… but who knows!
